We have been installing nesting boxes as part of our owl and kestrel program for several years in a few locations around the Rockland area and have in recent years started to install boxes for many other species.
We have a BTO member who comes to ring the owls and kestrels each year and he also carries out ringing on these smaller birds aswell. He also carries out surveys on the species inhabiting our woodland.
