Mink Control

We have areas of ponds, dykes & Rockland Broad all of which have birds that nest at water level including the rarely seen Bittern and water rail.  

We participate in the local mink control project setting live catch traps for them and reporting all mink caught for logging.

In a matter of two days after seeing a mink at Rockland it was spotted in Brundall.

During November 2019 we have caught to date 8 mink at Rockland.  In 2020 we caught 11 and since August 2020 we have already caught 15.
